Adequate tire pressure and tread depth is vital for good traction with the road, which could mean the difference between stopping in time and losing control of your vehicle.
Safe driving begins with proper maintenance. If you’re overdue for an inspection or preventative care, contact your local mechanic to check:
- Tire tread and pressure
- Engine oil and power steering/transmission fluids
- Brake pads and fluid levels
- Battery life
- Belts and hoses
- Coolant level
- Engine air filters
- Windshield wipers/fluid
