In fact, the rain was so heavy and visibility so low, that numerous drivers dropped well below the speed limit on the highway and turned on their flashers. Heavy rains can lead to puddling, flooding, and decreased traction, which in turn can cause skidding, difficulty stopping, or even hydroplaning.

There’s nothing more important as a driver than reacting smartly, swiftly, and safely to changing road conditions.
